Thoppumpady Bridge

Thoppumpady Bridge is an epitome of british engneering and classic constructions. It connects the tourist destinations Mattancherry, Fort Kochi, Palluruthy and Willingdon Island. It is connected to Willindon Island via the  Mattancherry Bridge. It is a classic work constructed in pre independence period with advanced technologies like, the  centre of the bridge can be raised to let ships pass under it.The Mattancherry bridge built about one kilometre near it, carries majority of the traffic from Thoppumpady to Willingdon Island
